WaxGuard filter

The filters protect the Receiver diaphragm of Signia Hearing Aids from dust and dirt particles. Prevent repairs by replacing the WaxGuard regularly.

The wax filter should be changed approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. The meshes of the filter should always be clearly visible. Only a clear filter will ensure proper sound transmission from your Hearing Aid.

So if your Hearing Aids sound quieter or muffled than usual, this is an indication that you should change the filter. If the filter's membrane is clogged, sound can no longer be transmitted unimpeded.

User Instructions:

Remove the used WaxGuard by gently pushing the free side of the rod into the filter to be replaced. Then pull it straight out. The new filter is already on the other side of the tool. Insert it where you removed the old filter. Done!
