Roger Clip-On Mic is the practical personal microphone (radio transmitter)

In some situations, speech understanding remains difficult despite good hearing aids. During lectures or in seminars, where the rooms are often not acoustically optimal, information is lost. To achieve better speech understanding in these environments, the Phonak Roger hearing aid accessories can be used successfully.

The Phonak radio transmission systems are designed to better understand speech over a greater distance.

The Phonak Clip-On Mic is a small, compact radio microphone with Roger technology.

Here's how it works:

The personal microphone is simply hung around the speaker like a necklace or worn on the lapel and turned on. If you're at a lecture, for example, ask the speaker to wear the microphone. You will then hear every word very clearly through your existing

Roger receiver.

If you already use a Roger Pen, you can connect up to 10 Clip-On Mic to it if needed to create a multi-talker network.

You can also connect Clip-On Mic directly to an audio source. To do this, connect the charging cradle (included) to the TV's audio output. Then plug Clip-On Mic into the station and you can receive TV audio directly through the radio. Of course, you can also connect the docking station to your stereo or computer, as long as these devices have an audio output.

The docking station can also be used simply as a charging station for your Roger Mic in conjunction with the charging cable.

The battery is thus fully charged in about 2 hours. The small LED light will indicate (green) when charging is complete.

Using the USB audio cable, you can also connect the Phonak Clip-On Mic directly to an audio device without using the station.

Phonak Roger Clip-On Mic is compatible with the following Roger wireless receivers:

  • Roger-MyLink
  • Roger-X
  • Roger design integrated receivers for hearing aids

Pairing the transmitter and receiver is very easy and can be done by yourself:

To do so, the transmitter and receiver must be about 10 cm apart. Then press the pairing button on the Clip-On Mic. The indicator will glow green for 2 seconds to indicate that the connection has been successfully established.
